London APSA 2 Barking 1 at the Terence MacMillan Stadium
Essex Senior League -
Following the abandoned game midweek against Eton Manner due to Matty West suffering what was described as a badly broken leg, The Blues lost today away to London Aspa.
The Blues conceded late on in the first half as they looked to out the worries of the past week behind them.
The second half didn’t start too well either for the away team as they shipped in another goal.
Staring down at a 2-0 defeat to ASPA, the Blues battled hard and were deserving of their strike, when Connor Halsey netted for his side.
However that was not enough for the Blues as they could not push on for the equaliser. The game ended 2-1 to London Aspa with Barking probably glad that the week is over, following what happened earlier in the week.
The game with Eton Manner has been re arranged for Tuesday 7th September with all funds raised being donated to Matty West as begins the road to recovery.
